Matt is Chairman of the Office of the CEO for HealthPort / IOD and serves as a member of the Board of Directors and the Chairman of the Audit Committee. He brings 20 years of experience as a leader in both publicly- and privately-traded healthcare companies and as a specialist in mergers and acquisitions and integrations.
Matt is a member of the Board of Directors and the Audit Committee of NuSil Technology.
Matt was previously head of Global Medical Operations for Ikaria, Inc. and also served as Chief Financial Officer and in multiple other executive roles. At Ikaria, he transformed a business that was expected to face generic competition into a durable customer service-focused franchise with growing revenues, resulting in a four-fold increase in enterprise value. He shaped the clinical development strategy and scientific go to market approach for an innovative product offering.
Prior to joining Ikaria, Matt was Executive Vice President and Chief Administrative Officer at VIASYS Healthcare, Inc. (NYSE: VAS), a public healthcare technology company with four business units focused in respiratory care, neurology, medical disposables and surgical products, and orthopedics. At VIASYS, he was responsible for the company’s global expansion strategy and acquired 11 companies to grow the company’s revenues by 4 times and enterprise value by more than 3 times. Before VIASYS, Matt was focused in mergers and acquisitions, integrations, and commercial transactions in the health care space at Morgan, Lewis & Bockius LLP. He holds an AB in Political Science from Princeton University and a JD from Villanova University School of Law.
George Abatjoglou is the President of HealthPort/IOD, Office of the CEO. He joined IOD as COO in 2010 and became CEO in 2013. Prior to IOD, George was CEO of eWebHealth, a SaaS provider of EHR workflow solutions. He also served as CFO and was EVP of product operations for ChartOne, a provider of ROI and related medical record services. George has held financial leadership positions at Xchange, McKesson and PriceWaterhouseCoopers. He is a CPA and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Miami University (Ohio).
Brian M. Grazzini is HealthPort/IOD's Chief Financial Officer, Office of the CEO. He manages the legal, budgeting, and financial reporting functions in addition to the direction of the treasury and accounts receivable departments. Before joining HealthPort, Mr. Grazzini served as chief financial officer for Genoa Healthcare and executive vice president and chief financial officer for Centennial Healthcare Corporation, both providers of long-term healthcare services.
In addition, Mr. Grazzini has held executive and senior management positions at various other healthcare companies, including Mariner Healthcare, Inc. where he served as vice president of finance for several different operational divisions, including rehabilitative services, institutional pharmacy, outpatient rehabilitation clinics, physician management practice, nursing home and assisted living facilities. Mr. Grazzini holds a Bachelor of Accounting degree from Kennesaw State University.
Matt Rohs is Senior Vice President and General Manager of ROI Services. He has been in the release of information (ROI) industry for over 20 years and joined HealthPort in 1998. For the past 4 years, he has held responsibility for all field operational activities and financial results for the Division.
As HealthPort’s VP and GM of ROI Services, Mr. Rohs worked with large healthcare systems including, Mayo, Emory, Cleveland Clinic, WellStar, Vanderbilt and many others to maximize operational efficiencies for the compliant exchange of protected health information through release of information services and technology.
As an experienced speaker, Mr. Rohs has presented at numerous state and local health information management conferences and conventions on topics of interest to the health information management community. In addition, Rohs serves as an industry expert, having authored HealthPort ROI focused whitepapers, and as a contributor to articles featured in prominent healthcare publications.
Mr. Rohs is a registered CPA and has a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Accounting from the University of Georgia. From 2009 to 2010, Mr. Rohs served as President of the Association of Health Information Outsourcing, or AHIOS, a trade association for firms assisting hospitals and other healthcare providers in outsourcing the release of patient information and other health information-management outsourcing services.
Bill Matits is Senior Vice President of Sales for HealthPort/IOD. From October 2005 to December 2007, Mr. Matits served as the Senior Vice President of Sales of Smart Document Solutions, LLC, which merged with Companion Technologies in June 2007 to form HealthPort. Mr. Matits’s success has been a direct result of his proven leadership, drive and passion for the company’s advancement in the health information technology (HIT) industry. Matits has over 13 years of experience in the industry and prior to joining HealthPort has held various sales management positions within several “blue chip” service organizations including Automatic Data Processing, Inc., and Bank of America, Business Services. Matits holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing from Fairfield University’s Dolan School of Business.
