Mike Labedz, President and CEO
 Michael J. Labedz assumed the position of President and Chief Executive Officer of HealthPort in June of 2008. He has almost 20 years of management, operational, and strategic planning experience. In addition to HealthPort, Mr. Labedz is President of Thurston Group (TG), a private merchant bank in Chicago. He has simultaneously held positions as vice president or president of various Thurston Group Investments since he started with the company in 1998.
Prior to this, Mr. Labedz was Vice President of Finance & Operations for Productivity Point International. Mr. Labedz also has experience as a management consultant with Deloitte & Touche, specializing in business integration and strategy for clients such as Sears, Unocal, Blue Cross Blue Shield (of California, New York, Pennsylvania and Arizona), Allstate Insurance, and American Communications Services, Inc. He has a B.S. in Economics and an M.S. in Accountancy from the University of Illinois.
