Gene Guertin, Chief Information Officer Gene Guertin brings over 28 years of IT experience to HealthPort as Chief Information Officer. He was formerly Senior Vice President of Operations and Development for zipzap.com, a wireless application service provider. Mr. Guertin has extensive IT leadership experience with such companies as American Business Products/Curtis 1000, Tanner Companies, GTE/Contel, and Bechtel Engineering. Guertin holds a Master's degree in Management from Frostburg State University in Frostburg, Maryland; a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering from the New Jersey Institute of Technology in Newark NJ; and is a Licensed Professional Engineer in the state of Maryland.
