As one of the first 18 electronic medical record systems (EMRs) to be CCHIT certified, HealthPort Electronic Medical Record (HealthPort EMR) offers three different system options: HealthPort EMRx, HealthPort EMRxpress, and HealthPort EMR (point of care). HealthPort EMRx and HealthPort EMRxpress provide a less costly alternative to the full point of care product.
A variety of data entry methods are provided including scanned images and flexible documentation templates. Clinicians can quickly and easily access images like x-rays or documents such as medical histories much faster than they could access paper records.
Familiar, scalable technology
HealthPort's client server EMR model runs on a Windows® platform. We utilize a Sybase ASA v8.02 database and Sybase EAS Server. Written in Powerbuilder C++, the application can handle a variety of inputs such as voice recognition, handwriting recognition, touch screen, scanned documents/images, virtual keyboard and traditional keyboard and mouse. The application can also be deployed as a subscription or ASP model.
